Since we began production of our revolutionary R9 and R9S 9mm pistols in 2004 to universal acclaim, the "Rohrbaugh Family" of handgun owners has been growing steadily. As I've said, the customer is at the heart of everything we do at Rohrbaugh Firearms. Therefore, I'm happy to announce that in 2008 we will be responding to your requests for a truly custom handgun with a variety of different finishes and themes.

The R9 Stealth Elite has a Diamond Black DLC coated slide with the sides sanded by hand to reveal the stainless silver color. The trigger and magazine release are glass-beaded to produce a satin look. The extractor is also hand-sanded like the sides of the slide, to further enhance the look of the gun.

The Elite Premiums sold out quickly! We are working on a new limited edition that will be available soon.

• Please note that, in addition to the special guns described above, the original two-tone "Standard" model and "Stealth" models will remain in the Rohrbaugh product line.

• We have also noted your requests for different grips on the R9 pistols. In response, new grip panels made from aluminum will soon be available exclusively through the Rohrbaugh Website Store.

On a separate note, we have received numerous phone calls and correspondence regarding the status of our promised Rohrbaugh 380 pistol. We are completing some work on the test pistols and expect to move into production soon. Keep watching this space for the latest updates.
